New Redkite SAR Website

We're extremely pleased to announce along with the new formation of Redkite Specialist Ambulance & Rescue as a company, we have a brand new, mobile friendly website that not only looks clean and modern in the 21st century and makes the browsing experience better for users on smartphones and tablets, but also reflects our approach to business and health and safety consultancy.

For our new Mobile Friendly website and search engine optimisation, we have gone to APX Solutions. A web design company in Narberth - Pembrokeshire. The reason for us picking Andy and the team at APX Solutions is that we've worked alongside Andy on Commitee events where our sister company Merlin First Aid has provided medical first aid cover and we have seen the work he has undertaken on both Narberth Civic Week, Narberth Roundtable and Narberth Winter Carnival.

Andy was great in helping us achieve a website design that met our initial vision of a new website plus he has assisted us in meeting our budget by offering tips and guidance to allow us to edit our own content yet still making sure it keeps our website up in Google Rankings. One other area APX Solutions has assisted us with is reaching our onto Social Media with some very helpful Social Media Management.

We hope all customers of Redkite SAR from now into the future like our new website and the user experience we have tried to deliver. We would love feedback so please get in touch on Twitter https://twitter.com/redkite_SAR or on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/RedKiteSAR/. Alternatively you can drop us a message via our Contact Us page.

When HSE’s FAAMS (First Aid Advisory and Monitoring Service) was replaced with the concept of Awarding Organisations (AO’s) in October 2013 and the HSE as a body no longer approved first aid training providers or qualifications a massive increase in training providers hit the market across the United Kingdom.

Remote Care: First Aid in the Mountains

As a former casualty care medic with a civilian Mountain Rescue Team I am well aware of the additional hazards involved with remote first aid and the prolonged care of a casualty in locations far removed from the roadside where an ambulance can reach you and take over your patient.

Event Medicine: Cover on the Cheap?

As someone who has spent over fifteen years working in event medical cover as the former operations manager and emergency medical technician for an independent ambulance and event medical provider and have provided event emergency planning for some major international events and I am dismayed by the current ‘trend’ from some event organisers when they go for ‘first aid on the cheap’.
